Employee Tax Credits & Wage Reimbursements are provided to employers by VESID when prescreened job-ready disabled individuals are hired so follow-up services necessary to ensure employer satisfaction are provided. VESII:) also subsidizes the cost of training new disabled employees through tax credits and wage reimbursement that varies depending on the training services.

The Fulton, Montgomery and Schoharie Counties Private Industry Council (PIC) provide On-The-Job Training (OJT) assistance to area businesses by reimbursing the company for up to 50% of an eligible new workers' wages during a specified training period. PIC can also help arrange and pay for specialized training to groups of new employees in some or all aspects of their new jobs.
