Office for the Aging Home-delivered meals: Available following an assessment to eligible home-bound people 60 and older. There are no income-eligibility requirements. Congregate Meals: hot noon meals at four dining cafes for those 60 and older and their spouses regardless of age. No income-eligibility requirements. Call 843-1478 or 673-5048 the day before to reserve a meal. All meal sites are open at 11:30 a.m. and serve at noon Monday through Friday. Evening meals with entertainment are offered at each of the four cafes, which open at 4 p.m. and serve at 5 p.m. Reservations should be made by the Wednesday prior to the evening meal. Call for a schedule. A registration, which includes a nutritional risk assessment, is required annually for all meal participants.
